Analogic: Launching the AVA RF Plasma Generator Line

A two-phase product marketing and go-to-market plan for Analogic's AVA line of pulsed RF plasma generators. Phase 1 built the product identity and launch kit for SEMICON West 2025. Phase 2 extended it into a website, brand video, podcast, and digital content strategy for 2026.

Phase 1 · SEMICON West launch (Fall 2025)

  • Product showcase: positioned the AVA 1213 (1.25 kW) and AVA 3013 (3 kW) 13.56 MHz pulsed RF generators with auto frequency tuning, alongside the AVA 6013.
  • Visual identity: took the AVA logo from rough drafts to a final mark, then applied it across the product line.
  • Launch collateral: pop-up banners (plus a 1080×1920 digital version), a tri-fold brochure, datasheets, giveaways, and booth staging concepts.
  • Timeline: ran design drafts in August, approvals and print in September, and event execution in October.
  • LinkedIn plan: pre-event hype, event-day engagement, and post-event highlight videos to grow visibility and reach.
  • Competitor review: benchmarked trade-show and brand presence of Advanced Energy, MKS, and Comet.

Phase 2 · Brand & digital (Spring 2026)

  • AVA website: a five-stage roadmap from foundation to product pages, technical specs, support, and thought leadership, with wireframes and design principles.
  • Competitive web audit: reviewed sites from Rohde & Schwarz, XP Power, Comet, Advanced Energy, TRUMPF, and Applied Materials.
  • Content engine: AVA brand video, podcast, product photo shoot, datasheet booklets, and an email newsletter.
  • Social strategy: brand intro and values, product highlights from AVA 1213 to 6013, and recurring series like "AVA TLDR" and "AVA Insider".
  • What I learned: how engineering and sales shape a hardware GTM together, and how to build a full product identity from logo to messaging.

02 · Creative Product & Brand Strategy

San Francisco 49ers: Creative Content for a Global Faithful

A pitch deck I created as a prospective intern, proposing new content ideas to help the 49ers reach fans beyond the US. Each idea borrows a proven format from global soccer, cricket, and basketball and adapts it to the 49ers brand.

12+content concepts adapted from global sports brands

Strategy

  • Why now: the 49ers gained international marketing rights in Mexico and the UK in December 2021 through the NFL's Global Markets Program.
  • Where to grow: the UK, Mexico, Spain, India, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
  • How to win: culturally tailored content, such as soccer-flavored stories for UK fans and Arabic-language appeal for Gulf audiences.
  • Formats: Reels and TikToks, drone POV, behind-the-scenes footage, player podcasts, and cultural music trends.

Content concepts

  • Players' Swag: arrival-fit content, inspired by France national team tunnel fashion.
  • Coach's Game Plan: a look at Kyle Shanahan's tactics, modeled on Pep Guardiola's locker-room content.
  • Player Carpool, Arabic commentary, and ASMR: formats proven by Arsenal FC and Cricket Australia.
  • Cultural moments: heritage celebrations like Manchester United's Diwali freestyle video.
  • Inside training: an "All or Nothing"-style series to win over UK audiences.
  • Levi's Stadium: tailgate and stadium-tour stories, including a Saudi-style desert tailgate idea.

Pitch deck prepared independently as a prospective intern; not an official 49ers campaign.

03 · Data Analytics

MrBeast: Predicting YouTube Engagement from Metadata

Can a creator predict engagement before uploading, using only things they control, such as title, length, and timing? This BAN 612 project tested that question on MrBeast's channel with interpretable machine learning.

Python YouTube Data API Random Forest Gradient Boosting SHAP
250MrBeast videos analyzed
4models compared with 5-fold cross-validation
18–22hevening upload window that performed best

Method

  • Pipeline: API, cleaning, feature engineering, EDA, modeling, then SHAP interpretation.
  • Features: duration in seconds, publish hour and weekday, a peak-hour flag (18–22h), a Shorts flag, and title length.
  • EDA: views are heavy-tailed (so log-transformed), duration has a non-linear effect, and title length shows a small positive correlation.
  • Models: linear and logistic regression baselines against random forest and gradient boosting, scored with R² and ROC-AUC.

Findings

  • Performance: tree models modestly outperformed the linear baselines, and their bigger value was interpretability.
  • Top SHAP drivers: duration, the Shorts flag, publish hour, the peak-hour flag, and title length.
  • Local example: a 45-second Short posted at 19:00 with a balanced title was predicted high-engagement.
  • Recommendations: upload between 18 and 22h, run separate strategies for Shorts and long-form, and keep titles concise and keyword-rich.
